In Mexico, it's not considered a crime if you walk into someones house to use a phone....

or hit and run...
or drive drunk w/o a licesne, insurance, or registration
or have sex with minors
or rape farm animals

Nice Culture..."Celebrate Diversity" says the bilboard in Ralston. I don't think so.

Unbelieveable (your comment/logic, that is...)...imo, the Golden Rule applies to all, regardless of man-made laws. You can't blame an entire culture for the mistakes of few. Btw, Victor never stated that the young men were Mexican, simply hispanic. And as he pointed out, I am sure their mothers would be ashamed of their actions...not encourage them to commit them because (as you claim) they are not chargeable offenses in Mexico. If your claims are true, and you care to, I'm sure you could spend a great deal of time studying the socio-economic (etc.) reasons the country does not have those laws in place...I'm sure you won't find "it's acceptable to" as one of those reasons.

Personally, I am ashamed of them. I can safely say without trying to be ethnically/politically correct. My dad was caucasion, but my mom was born in Durango, Mexico. I am bi-racial but one who did not know me, would not know the difference.

Please keep your doors locked at all times.

In any part of town you need to follow this simple task, Keep your Doors locked.

Omaha is not a small town any more.

Your were just lucky that day.

Next time be prepared.

Victor did you see on the news today about the man shot last night while sitting in his home? About 11 last night. Shots were fired from outside. That one is within my eyesight. I do not know which house it is though. scarey stuff. Glad you and your family and neighbors are all right.

With the economy the way it is, the buying and selling of stolen goods will probably increase dramatically = more theft. So yes, leave nothing in your car and lock your doors.
