the owh is not conservative

robert nelson is a liberal

cindy gonzalez is a liberal

I work at OWH I dont know of any columnist who is a conservative

surfomaha, name me two owh columnists who are conservative or claims to be a conservative

saying the OWH is a conservative paper is like saying

Countryside Community Church of Omaha Nebraska

or First Central Congregational Church of Omaha Nebraska

have conservatives

or the Omaha Public Schools school board

have conservatives on their board

I mean, the OWH panders to liberal churches like

Countryside Community Church of Omaha Nebraska or First Central Congregational Church of Omaha Nebraska and West Hills Church of Omaha Nebraska and other churches like it.

I dont see the few conservative bible believing churches there are in Omaha being pandered to by the OWH.

the OWH panders to Ernie Chambers

has any of the hate-filled rants he has made on Cox Channel 22 been posted word for word in the paper?

No, cause the OWH is covering for Ernie Chambers by looking the other way at his controversial statements.

Pandering to any kind of church sounds conservative. And if you don't think the OWH isn't conservative than you must be right of Rush Limbaugh.

I just think it's funny the paper is called "THE WORLD HERALD" Of all places to herald news around the world from, Omaha would seem the least interesting and happening place to do it. I could be wrong. Maybe there are children in Mumbi anxiously waiting for our Sunday funnies, or farmers in Poland perched on the edge of their chairs to learn when the CWS tickets go on sale.

Thank you Craigslist, for killing the classifieds in every paper across the country. If only newspaper corporations would have been less greedy, they could've earned some loyalty and sympathy.

I probably couldn't name 2 writers at the paper period but every time I've read any editorial pieces they have always been very far right leaning. They've also always endorsed Republicans in elections.

if folks cant name 2 writers at the paper period that are conservative, that is because they arent any at the OWH that are conservatives.

like I said both Cindy Gonzalez and Robert Nelson are liberals

BTW:

the OWH endorsed Kersten Borer for Omaha Public School board

Fritz Stanek (also endorsed by OWH in 2008

and also Nancy W. Huston (also endorsed by OWH in 2008

and also Mary Ellen Drickey (was also endorsed by OWH in 2008

Stanek and Nancy W. Huston and Mary Ellen Drickey are all democrats as is Borer.

I am not sure what Jensen is, but I think she is a democrat or a independent.

BTW, like with the OWH columnists, name me one person at

Omaha Public Schools - Board of Education - Contact Information

who is a conservative or republican.

the OPS school board is left just like the Omaha World Herald.

Anne Boyle and Mike Boyle who won their local elections in late 2008

both of them are democrats

Ernie Chambers and several others on the Learning Community board

that won and were endorsed by the OWH

are also democrats also.

Actually, the World Herald is a combination of two older newspaper companies a while back, The Omaha World and the Omaha Daily Herald, Hence "World Herald"
