I'm sure it is. Not only would someone as educated as this person claims not make sure broad and down right stupid statements, they'd almost certainly be better at expressing themselves. Reading Thinker's posts is like reading the rantings of a high school student throwing a temper tantrum.

Exactly. In an attempt to figure out if that posters posts were all as pathetic, I read some others from different threads. There is an obvious agenda against people who live in Omaha. I think it's amazing a person could think 800 thousand people living in a given area are all uneducated farmers.

Yep, it's beyond childish. There are lots of places in America that I hate, but you don't see me out there spamming their forums with hate.
I bet Thinker is a real blast at parties.

Hey Independent,
Since you and Staci are the only ones who are educated, can I ask you where you received your Ph.D. and Law Degrees? I would also love to see copies of the research papers you published and a listing of the national and international talks you've given. In fact, if you've given a talk at Cambridge University I would love to know what it was about. Grow up! Don't think for a second that I'm impressed with the fact that you've been "accepted" to a grad school. Do you have any clue how many people in Omaha have grad degrees?? Good lord. Furthermore, depending on the area of study, the University of Nebraska and Creighton University are better grad schools than the ones you listed. (again...depending on the area of study).
The fact that I think your posts are moronic does NOT make me less educated than you. I can promise you that I am NOT less educated than you.
Now grow up! Your argumentative skills show exactly the depth of your intellect. Rather than actually posing an argument you immediately attack the arguments of your opponents ad hominem, which is a characteristic of a very shallow thinker.
I have been all over the world and could live anywhere in the world. I CHOOSE to live in Omaha.

How is an attack for me to point out that I never attacked you?!@ Chill the F*** out dude. Besides it is crass to whip out your credentials like that. Education simply gives you a framework in which to place your understanding...it does not give the understanding itself.
Independant Thinker 84...if you are thinking of going to graduate school for the humanities...take my advice and don't. There is already a glut of PhD's in fields like history and english, which means that tenure track professor jobs are nearly impossible to come by. Once you get out of grad school and need that job you very well may be screwed. Here is a great article to read:

If its for math or economy or the sciences than its a whole different ballgame so discount the above.

Staci,
He said YOU and he were the only educated ones. I wasn't attacking you. And I was tongue-in-cheek bringing out the credentials because he was calling "everyone on the board but himself and you 'uneducated'".
I did it to point out that he needs to stop with the ridiculous stereotyping.
Again, I was NOT attacking you. But to rebut his claim I had to list you in the statement. And why is it "crass" for me to whip out credentials but its perfectly fine for him to go on and on about how he is more educated than everyone else (which he isn't), everyone in Omaha is uneducated and untraveled (which they are not), and he droning about being to accepted to "this grad school" and "that grad school?"
I just don't understand why you don't look at things objectively.
Maybe you need to "chill out."

Apparently.
But, yeah its crass whenever anyone does it..and its probably one of my largest pet peeves. Seriously anyone who wants to go to grad school, or any professional school really, better learn some humility now or they're in for a world of hurt.

Staci,
I said those things as a tongue-in-cheek response to his overly pompous statements. I said those things because of HIS lack of "humility." The point being he needs to recognize people all over the world with all sorts of worldviews are "educated." Anyone who read my response would see that.
That said, I'll leave it at that.
