Default Thoughts on Bennington

My fiance and I are looking at houses to purchase this year and would like to some feedback. Initially, our thought was to move to Millard but the homes seem to over priced. We're both pretty open minded so we've widened our search and have become intrigued by the possibility of living in Bennington. The neighborhood is a Hearthstone neighborhood off of 152nd (north of Standing Bear Lake). Has anyone lived there on this board that provide some insider insight as to the area (pro's and con's). Any info regarding the people, restaraunt, quality of schools, etc will be greatly appreciated.

I don't have any info on that area, but I would like to ask you a favor, if that's ok?
IF you end up buying a Hearth Stone Home, could you tell me (PM is fine) what they're like and if you like it. My husband and I are looking into buying one someday and would love to know how they are.
Thanks!! And good luck!

My wife and I built a Hearthstone 2.5 years ago. It's been a good experience...they're not bad homes. We've had a few issues but they've promptly fixed them every time.

Default Hearthstone

We actually made the decision to build a new Hearthstone in Ridgemoor in Bennington. The house is on the small side but its a nice open floor plan and it should serve us well for the next few years. I also have a couple of friends that built Hearthstone's in the last two years and they both enjoy them and they've had no major issues. Ours will be done in October.

How are the schools in Bennington? How are they rated compared to other school districts in the Omaha Metro?
