I've never ran into anyone offended by gays in Omaha. If I did, they were the same kind of people you'd find anywhere in America that are. what the heck? Pot-stirrer much?

Omaha claims to be so diverse, but gays and lesbians still get the "secondary citizen" treatment. How about NE quit worrying about the Huskers for a few minutes and see how Omaha still has hatred. I have seen it. I am from Iowa, and visit Omaha often. I always have to tone down my behavior before I cross the river. Besides, how do you know the Huskers don't have some gay teammates? Everything else about them is covered up (especially if they commit a crime, assault a woman, or worse).

We really don't care if one of the Huskers is gay, nor do we care if anyone is gay, its how they are, and they can't change it.

And yet I am told to keep the gay away right on this very forum. I am told that the mere mention of gay in any discussion here is off-topic and offensive.

Omaha is less tolerant of gays than Sidney, Iowa?

I find that highly unlikely.

Idk, why don't you dress up as Farah Fazol and do locker room interviews and let us know how that went for ya.
