I went with my wife and a few friends a year or so back, and I was the ONLY one not bothered by the place. Everyone was freaking out horribly. I'd say the only funky place was in the attic with no light, hearing the wind howl and the train horn in the distance. Sitting in the closet where the killer supposedly sat was creepy to some level, but not too bad. The underground basement area was musty and could easily freak someone out.
It's best if you have really jumpy friends, too. That way, when they are not paying attention or having a 'one-on-one' moment with the spirits, you break outside and tap on the glass or house. Almost had one girl in tears. Oops!
...not to mention the gas lamps in the house didn't work and it was 10 degrees outside. We called it an early night and left at 5am damn near shivering to death.
