The BBC did a documentary on the Phelps. It is on Youtube.....its fascinating and horrifying all rolled into one.
At one point, the interviewer was speaking to one of the Phelps granddaughters who was going to college and asking her if she fit in. She said she did, and that she liked her classmates and found them to be very nice people, then she added that its a shame they will all burn in hell, though.  The tone of voice she used was so eerie....she stated it like some people would say, its a shame they aren't vegetarians.
This is one family that I honestly expect to hear of a mass suicide one day. |

Hardly. They are ALL lawyers. Fred has since been disbarred but to say that they are uneducated isn't true. They are all very educated in the institutional way but their stance on anything ideological is up for debate but not related to actual intelligence.

And that's one of the problems. They ARE educated lawyers. So... what they do is go stage these awful protests, at which they absolutely infuriate everybody. And they are just HOPING somebody takes a poke at one of them, and assaults them. Then they can sue.
That's where a lot of their money comes from. |

That's probably who you saw. Just because their message is crap doesn't mean they are stupid. They are all very shrewed lawyers and tape EVERYTHING.

So where are you getting the information that these folks are supposed to be in Omaha today - Tuesday the 12th - protesting at South High?
If they're going to be there, I'm very tempted to go see them. I'll be riding my motorcycle - which "just happens" to have Long Shot straight pipes on it, and "just happens" to be painfully loud when ridden in "that certain way."
Could provide an hour or so of very cheap entertainment. |
