I don't know which irritates me more; news that the Westboro group is coming to town for a protest or news that there will be a Gay Pride parade in town. Both are equally offensive to me.

One is a hate group, and the other is a group trying to get the far right to quite forcing hate policies on them..

How about you not worry about who other people love and care about, and start worrying about hate groups trying to force nazi agendas onto society?

Ya, I'm not sure how one could possibly put the two groups in the same category.

Even if you are completely against what the gay movement is trying to accomplish it is silly to put them in the same category as a hate group like Westboro.

The gay pride events are not for condemning other groups. They are for showing "pride" for their group.

There is a fundamental difference and I'm not sure why someone would be offended by a gay pride parade, whether you support them or not. Them being gay and proud of it has no bearing on me. I simply do not understand the connection.
