When I was privaleged to see the plan up close and offer input for it they said the new library would be on 24th and Harney/Farnam.

I don't think I'd want to lose the Civic. They'd need to have something pretty impressive replacing it for me to get behind that idea.

I think the Library is planned to go in the Joslyn District, as DTO said.

I wouldn't miss the Civic. As much land as that takes up you could fit so much more there.

Yeah but at the same time it's a cool building in it's own right and there is quite a bit of history there, plus we still get alot of use out of it. I'm sure there are other places (coughsurfacelots) that could be built on first before we'd need to attack the Civic.

Keep in mind those renderings are nothing more than food for thought. Our skyline could look exactly as it does now twenty years from now.
