Only 3 more days! Thursday you can buy fireworks legally in most of Nebraska - yeah! Love that tradition and the 4th of July old fashioned celebrations that some of the small towns still have.

I dont know anyone who DOESNT light fireworks in Omaha. LOL I've never heard of anyone getting 'ticketed' about it. Some people go hardcore and get the 'good stuff' from missouri.

I would assume illegal for the state of Nebraska as Omaha now allows fireworks that are legal in the state and even will be allowing sales within the city.

Fireworks are cruelty to animals and should be made illegal. I've lived in a lot of major cities and they made them illegal except on the day of the 4th.... or not at all in some cities. which forced people to go to controlled events to see them.
My dogs are terrified when fireworks go off and shake, bark, even stressed to the point of throwing up. is blowing up things worth cruelty? it's insanity here in nebraska!

So is caging them up and keeping them as pets. But you conveniently forget to mention that. (not to be taken seriously)

Don't like it, then ask your vet for a mild sedative, and ask for one for your pet as well.
