Omaha Robbery Map
I was looking at the Omaha Robbery Map and it shows that most robberies took place in the Midtown/downtown area, and some in Benson, not in the north Omaha "city proper" even though that's all the news talks about. Very interesting...

Learn how to read a map. Only one of the robberies was in Downtown. Also looking at that map the poorest parts of Omaha don't have a lot of people or businesses to rob. They're going to have to go to other parts of Omaha.

Where do YOU suggest people move to? The Millard area, where they regularly have MAJOR drug busts in the schools? Dundee, where a doctor's child & housekeeper got murdered? Elkhorn, where the son & his girlfriend killed his dad?
It's REALLY easy to just sit at a computer keyboard and bad-mouth everything and everybody. You've proven that. But you've offered nothing but bad-mouthing - and that's not impressive at all.

I was just pointing out that crime isn't confined to one specific area of town. Great link, happy. Very informative.

Look how many of them happened in your precious West Omaha. Also one of the most violent of the robberies...where the kid was targeting an ethnic business for protection money, threatening their lives and damaging the store on a regular basis...yeah didn't that happen in West Omaha as well.
Let me guess though, because some random guy does a smash and grab on a gas station in Midtown, it's a bad area and should be avoided. When it happens in West Omaha, it's just an anomaly, right?

When it's in West Omaha, there is enough money involved to keep the media silent.
I wonder if the media ever reported the REAL reason the Rod Kush mansion went on the auction block?
