Bring on even more obese people that are malnurished! I don't even understand how someone could begin to think that this is something that is okay to eat.

I'm in great shape and I would eat it. Not every day of course, but it's definitely edible.

This is a pretty good story about the new "Double Down". I guess if you are going to eat crap you might as well really go for it, right?KFC tests out new bunless burger to rave reviews in America's heartland

When I first saw this commercial on tv I turned to my friend and said, "How fat have we gotten as a country that we replaced the bread on a sandwich with two pieces of fried chicken?"

I guess I don't see what the fuss is. It appears to be heatlhier than any of the burritos you can buy at Chipotle or Qdoba and most burgers at Burger King (single, double, triple whopper with chesse) etc etc.

As Americans we are a bunch of fat asses, I just don't see why this is such a big deal. 9 out of 10 times I eat healthy. The other time, I will eat a burger...or next time a chicken sandwich with NO BUNS! =-)

I rarely eat out, but I might consider this.

On the other hand, I highly doubt that I will. There are just some things that the middle-aged guy can do without.

Yes, I read the article thru. (I may have been the only one it would seem) Their figures [Canadian Newspaper source], which they admittedly said to "take with a grain of salt" or "these are only guess-timates" proved contrary to KFC's nutritional information.

Funny how those guys used the nutritional information from the corporations themselves when it came to (Wendy's, Burger King, McDonalds) and used their own calculation for KFC.

By the way, there is quite a difference between a Triple Whopper and a BigMac. It was the BicMac they spoke of when they made the claim the Double Down "if our calculations hold true" would be nearly the equivalent salt, fat, and calories as 3 BigMacs.

Also by federal law and enforced by the FDA, it is unlawful to provide FALSE nutritional information anytime a nutritional statement or information has been provided by the restaurant entity.

I would not bet my money on a Canadian newspaper and for the purpose of the conversation, they have proved jack ****. Now go support your local KFC. =-)
