Default Any acreage subdivisions within an hour of Omaha?

Title says it all. My husband and I are NE natives, have lived 5 years in Kansas where there are many, many awesome acreage subdivisions for all price ranges - some with paved and some with gravel roads. We just can't recall seeing a lot of these back in NE...we'd like to get within an hour of Omaha and still have anywhere from 2-10 acres with a moderate home/land (200-250K) to raise the kiddos. If anyone has development names or recommendations please post. Could be Ashland, Louisville, Blair, Fort Calhoun, Valley, Wahoo, Yutan, Springfield or anywhere else you can think of. Thanks so much!!

Just do a search on npdodge.com and you can find quite a few acreages. My wife and I have been looking ourselves. I'm not sure if you're wanting to build or buy an acreage with a preexisting house, but I know at least in the Blair area there are quite a few that are between 5 and 20 acres.

I'm not sure if you've spent much time around Blair but its a relatively scenic area with a very "hilly" and wooded landscape. Plus, the land is relatively cheap and the property taxes (washington co.) are lower than found in Douglas County.
