It would be the SW corner of the intersection, just east of the interstate. It used to be Fort Street Christian before they moved west and became Stonebridge.
It's only out of curiosity. I know nothing about them, and was wondering who/what they are.

Oh yeah. Duhh! Sheesh, I've been by there lots of times.
I don't know a thing about the church itself though.

At least that was his take on it. Needless to say, he doesn't go there anymore.

I've only been there once, myself, for a friends funeral.

I have attended many of their Bible studies on Monday evenings and I can give them an enthusiastic thumbs-up. GAME is not, as has been stated already, a church, but is a para-church ministry geared towards singles from college age to early 30s. I do have to disagree with the statement about most churches in Omaha having singles ministries -- it's just the opposite. Several large churches in town have shut their singles groups down within the past 5 years and now another one (Brookside) will be doing so at the end of April. It's tragic, really -- Christian singles (at least the ones over 35) in the city of Omaha are getting swept under the rug, and now have no place to turn to for weekly fellowship. Perhaps the older singles groups will wind up doing what GAME already is doing, and going the para-church route. Whatever GAME is doing is working, because they get about 100 people (on average) there every Monday night.

I can suggest a couple of places NOT to check out in Omaha: CCC and Trinity. Here's why...
I belong to a group of singles in their 30s and early 40s who had been based out of Christ Community Church for many years. In April 2006, Mark Ashton swept into town from Willow Creek and brought the Willow Creek way of doing things with him. In making Christ Community's image over to resemble that of Willow Creek, he decided that the current method of small group studies on Sunday mornings had to go, and that "journey" groups would replace them. In November of '06, our group (Spirit) was the first one at CCC to get the ax, and we were wandering nomads for more than a year after that, although we've since settled in at Harvey Oaks Baptist (the only place we could find that would have us) on Thursday nights. I made a vow when Ashton and his cohorts booted us out that I would never set foot inside CCC on a Sunday morning ever again, and I've stuck to it.
A month after that whole episode, I started attending Trinity for what I thought would be the long haul. At the time, I was completely unfamiliar with the inner workings of the charismatic movement, which would come back to haunt me later. I became a member of Trinity in Sept. 2007, right before a huge split (the cause of which I still haven't completely learned the details of to this day, because nobody in a position of hierarchy there has been forthright about discussing what exactly happened) took 1/3 of the church's membership with it. I stayed by my guns and hung in there for a while longer until Nov. '08 when Pastor Les Beauchamp mentioned the words "Lakeland revival" in some announcements before beginning a message. My jaw hit the floor, and, afterwards, I decided to ask him (without letting on that I already knew all about Todd Bentley) just where Trinity stood regarding Bentley, and what Les told me seemed to indicate that Trinity was supporting him, which disturbed me greatly.
I pulled the plug on my involvement with Trinity a couple weeks after that, and have been church-hopping ever since, trying to find SOME place here in Omaha that has its head screwed on straight.
I have heard that SBC (Southern Baptist) churches seem to be good places to check out. Can anyone recommend any here that are preaching the TRUE gospel of Jesus Christ?
