Those are far apart from each other... which part of the metro are you in... maybe can get a few closer recommendations...

I believe Midwestern is also KJV only. I used to work with a guy that went there.

I believe Twin Cities is independent... also, did validate with a friend that it is KJV only.

My wife and I are really enjoying our time at Evangelical Bible Church. The pastor actually preaches from the Bible. That's a rarity today.

I was there last sunday at EBC at 78th and Fort and it is a good church
one of the teachers I knew at Omaha North High (when I was a student there in the mid 90's, I graduated in 1998 from Omaha North BTW) is a member there BTW.
the sermon from Isaiah Chapter 1 was good BTW
I may check it out again next time I am in that part of town on sunday mornings
I BTW will not be checking out Trinity Church where Beauchamp is the pastor after what I just read at:
A Little Leaven: Get the Marriage You've Always Wanted?
I mean, what is Les Beauchamp and Trinity Church of Omaha Nebraska thinking?
I mean we already have a show on the radio on KCRO 660 of Omaha KCRO-AM - Omaha, NE - Life Changing Christian Teaching and Talk called Family Life with Dennis Rainey
I mean, why not suggest people listen to that instead of Oprahfying and Osteening your church, Les Beauchamp

Glad you liked EBC. We actually missed this past week because I had to go see my niece confirmed at a Lutheran Church. So far though, we've enjoyed EBC.
That's too bad about Trinity. I've known people that attend there, and work with a woman that attends there now (of course, she also has been known to go to Benny Hinn conferences).
I doubt it, but am hoping that maybe this is only a 3-4 week series between preaching on books of the Bible.

considering what I just read at
http://www.trinityomaha.com/igsbase/...cCalendarID=85
I doubt this is only going to be for 3-4 weeks

I can see perhaps that sort of thing being discussed with a pastor, but I don't know that I'd advertise it on the website as an upcoming event like that. I'm trying to give 'em the benefit of the doubt. But it's getting difficult.

Gretna?
We go to a small (about 250 Sunday morning) church in Gretna that is Christian & Missionary Alliance. It is a very friendly family atmosphere and Bible-centered. Worship is mixed and preaching/teaching are straight from Bible, not just Bible-related. We like John MacArthur, John Piper, and RC Sproul but don't worship them. We have a significant number of people that attended Trinity back in Elmer Murdock's day, and also a significant number that attended Christ Community back in Bob Thune's day.
Website is Welcome « Gretna Community Church

Been a long time since I've been to Blair, but I think its just on the edge of town by the golf course, so I wouldn't call it a country church... that to me is the ones you find a few miles out of town in the county... Denominationally I don't think they are affiliated with anyone.
