I have a friend coming into town next week and I was wanting to take them to a Thai restaurant. There are a surprising number of Thai restaurants in town. Any recommendations?

Bangkok Cuisine, totally underrated but fabulous! It's on 19th and Farnam, across the street from the Woodmen Tower and the Douglas County Courthouse. Enjoy!

I second that for sure. Bangcock wins hands down.

There is a also a good thai place on south 24th right across the street from South High School. It shares space with a small thai market. It is probably just as good as Bangcock.

I had not looked at that one before. I definitely want authentic Thai (not Americanized "authentic") and it looks like that is a good choice. Thanks for the advice. If there are any other opinions, we aren't going until Friday, so feel free to chime in!

Hell, i'll third that one, Bangkok definitely. I always got the pad won sen or green curry. Nothing fancy, just quality food. Very nice folks that run that place too...
