Default A reply email from an active amusement park developer looking at omaha

Erik,

We are continuing to work on the Nebraska location. Significant progress has been made on the legislation.

We are anxious to open a park, here, also.

Thanks,

Steve Minard

Hmmm...that's interesting. Is this a major park? Or something on the order of the old Peony Park (spelling?). I, for the longest time, couldn't figure out why there wasn't a Six Flags type of amusement park in the area.

The guy has a more 6 Flags then Peony Park plan but I don't know if he's got the means to do it. Although I think he built or was at least a part of building a new amusement park that opened in West Virginia.

Yeah, I'm afraid its partially a "pie in the sky" typed of project. In 2002 similar discussions were taking place by the same guy...Steve Minard. Here is an article about it:

We have been waiting for Mr. Minard to build something.
For more info about the WV park go to The Intelligencer / Wheeling News-Register | The Intelligencer / Wheeling News-Register
Do a search for Wild Escape or Minard for more news about this.

If he builds it they will come.

Cmoney

I tried to go to the links that you have provided, but it appears as if something is wrong with them. Can you please check them out and then repost them as I would very much like to read about what the stories are. I have been following this since 2002 and hope that it comes about.

Thank you.
