This is getting so sad. There has to be a way to reclaim these kids form the violence and gangs. I know it needs to start at home but I'm willing to bet these kids don't have what eny of us would really consider a functioning home. I'm just at a loss for words the more this happens.

Students pulled from North High over text message
Parents pulled about 100 children from North High today over rumors flying via text message, OPS spokeswoman Luanne Nelson said.
Asked if the rumors were related to Monday's fatal shooting of 15-year-old Benson High student Everett E. Williams Jr., Nelson said that was a police matter.
"We do have some parents taking students out for the day, but overall most students are staying, and we have extra police and extra OPS personnel in the building," Nelson said.

It would appear that North High has it in for North High. I don't have all the facts, but it looks like it's just being called as it's being seen.

Well... Historically, the World Herald GROSSLY over-exaggerates any and every supposed thing that happens at North High, but ignores really bad crap at the Millard Schools.
