Does anyone know of an entry level position or an employer who will hire some one with a felony, who has little to no experience. The felony is for leaving the scene of an injury accident. I have to clue where to even tell him to look, but he needs ajob he has a family to support so if someone could point us in the right direction that would be great!

leaving the scene of an injury accident was what he was convicted of, but he has had some experience as a cook for fast food places, but was looking to try to make more money so he could support his family

I would first get him down to a temp agency to get him started with some work. They can also assist in finding a permanent position. They may know where to look faster than he would.

I agree with Jay. With no experience, a temp agency will be in a much better position to know who would hire him, considering both the lack of experience and criminal record.

Does it matter? Good lord, people make mistakes, no point beating them over the head with it.

Wow. In what state is leaving the scene of an injury accident a felony?

Even for mulitiple offenses it never rises to a felony in Nebraska, only a Class I Misdemeanor.

The vast majority of blue-collar jobs don't exclude convicted felons. Construction, fast food, retail. He'll have a bigger problem applying for government jobs, financial jobs, etc.
