Whatever happened to don't ask, don't tell? If you're gay, you'll find the district - East Leavenworth is a good place to start, but I'd move it on up to the west side. Benson may be gay on Maple St., but just move slightly north or south and you'll be disappointed. Same with Dundee and Underwood St., just not so much. Like any city in a red state, we have a larger share of homophobes and neo-nazis than other places, you'll have to live with that. I'm not gay and don't care, I just generally find PDA's of any variety uncomfortable for some reason, I prefer to keep the lovin' a private business.
