Gangs of Huntington
Recently I moved to Huntington beach, driving around I noticed alot of gang graffiti and several people that appeared to be gang members. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about the gangs in the Hb/huntington area. (names, number of gangs, ect.) I have tried searching the internet and have found very little info on this topic. Any help is appreciated thanks.

Don' t think so, not lately anyway. Tonight I did see two groups (Black and asian) one dressed in mostly blue, the other mostly yellow and black, walking along Victoria street seemed like potental gang members.

You sound like you're being paranoid. These "gang members" were probobly just kids that are into hip-hop music and dress in that style.
Yellow and black are not gang colors and if there is a gang out there wearing yellow, they're just wannabes. If you see a whole lot of people all wearing blue or red, those could be gangsters though. Huntington Beach might have some MS-13 or Crips, but overall any gang activity in Huntington Beach is probobly really tame.
They were probobly just some kids that listened to Dr. Dre one too many times. So-Cal is full of these "Malibus Most Wanted" types. They look and act like gangsters, but they actualy live in million dollar homes with their Mom and have never been in anything close to a ghetto.

Yeah the reason I suspected the group in blue of being gang members is because not only did they have on blue, but blue hats and Adidas shoes. ( Adidas shoes being worn by crips meaning All Day I Destroy a slob-blood) But for the most part I think your probally right, I'm probally being paranoid.

If you're white in Huntington Beach, you have little to worry about since the biggest gang threat is from neo-nazi punk gangs members stoked up on meth and crack and there aren't THAT many of them.
I have never heard of HB as Mexican gang territory. I can see how there might be some Vietnamese gangbangers coming down from Garden Grove or Westminster on occasion. but that might be about it.

Have you tried contacting the HBPD or the Orange County Sheriffs?

About Gangs In H.B........
I went to highschool back in 1988-1992 at Ocean View in H.B. and there were many gang members then. They always stood by the doors trying to look tough. I never had any problems, but then it's H.B., not Carson, Ca or Compton! There was never any gang activities going on when I was there. I really loved living there! I've also lived in Garden Grove(okay), Westminster(okay), San Diego(yuck! but then it was a bad area!), Torrance(nice), Carson(totally yucky!) and now I'm in HOT Aridzona! I really wouldn't worry too much. Huntington Beach is a fun city! Irvine is absolutely awesome! But then, we all couldn't afford it, could we? I wish!

LMAO!!....hell yeah its a little extreme to call the cops on a group of people (which normal to walk around in a group, I don't think it considered a crime)wearing the same color (its not a crime to match your clothes, unless you rather see them wearing rainbow colors would make you feel better) and a certain race (black and asians?...umm how did you know their race?...maybe they are indians, philipeans, chinese, etc...ohh dam not a good example they are all GUILTY!) that just happen to be in a area that has some graffiti by ( could have been there for years)....when you looked on the internet did you typed?...black, asians wearing the same colors walking down a block with graffiti around....don't get me wrong its totally o.k to worry about gang members in your neighborhood and be safe but if they arent bothering you why care.
