Some of my kids better clothes, holiday or church, I have given to teachers who pass them along to students who may not otherwise get special clothes for special events like school concerts. I've also passed along to Sunday school teachers or families at church that I have particular knowledge of.

If they're women's clothes, you could donate to Working Wardrobe in either Costa Mesa or Anaheim. They provide clothes for needy women returning to the workplace.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I asked all my friends and they knew people that could use them so I gave them to a few people that really needed them.

I hate to see any usable items going to waste, but I don't want all the "stuff" in my house.
