That's three basketball teams in LA Metro. How about a football team?

For that, somebody super-rich needs to build a state-of-the-art stadium (think Jerry Jones here); even so, there'll have to be a helluva lot of public spending involved, just on infrastructure. There isn't anyone in SoCal who has come up with a workable proposal (well, actually, there have been too many). Until everyone interested in attracting an NFL franchise here (no expansion planned) can agree on a single plan and location, it's no-go.

Orange County people already like the Lakers. I don't give the Anaheim Royals a long stay here.

Hey fellow OC'ers, please BOYCOTT the Kings on OC. The Maloofs and David Stern represent EVERYTHING thats wrong with the NBA. Make sure the kings are a FINANCIAL FAILURE, make sure the maloofs regret the day they decided to carpet bag their way into anaheim.

Funny, now there will be two Kings in the same area. If an NFL team moves in, maybe they can be named Kings too.

Unless the Kings revert to "Royals." I understand they've been wearing retro-jerseys.

According to the Orange County Register, they've already trademarked the name "Anaheim Royals."
