Thumbs up Irvine/Tustin/Costa Mesa- Urban Upscale Apartments

Hi All,

New to the forums.

Would like to get some feedbacks/experiences with these 'urban upscale' apartments.

So far, I've got (all in Irvine):

Avalon
Calypso
Camden Main & Jamboree
Kelvin Court (formerly Alta Court)
*Feel free to add

Haven't really looked at Tustin and Costa Mesa, any suggestions over there?

Here is a good place to start your search:
Properties for rent in California - The Orange County Register - Real Estate (http://re.ocregister.com/for-rent/CA-USA - broken link)

And there are some services that say that they can help in finding rentals. I have no personal experience with them, BTW...
Irvine Company Rental: 888-484-9281 (Irvine Company Properties Only)
OC Property Rentals: orange county apartments, orange county rentals

Good Luck!

Yeah, you're probably looking for Irvine Company-type properties. You can go directly to their website and look up via location on an interactive map. Also, if you are looking in Tustin- look at Tustin Ranch. There are Irvine Company properties, as well as other properties in that area. Very nice. Good luck!

We visited The Park at Irvine Spectrum last week. If you want upscale, urban living with plenty of amenities, this would be the place to consider.

There is also The Village, which is a sister property located right next to it.

These are newer developments. The park offers a heated pool, spa, library, fitness center, outdoor grilling area, cabanas, WiFi in common areas, underground parking with elevator access to your apartment, and even a theater for new DVD releases.

The Village has even more amenities with shopping available right on site.

And both properties are located right by the Irvine Spectrum, which is an upscale outdoor shopping, restaurant and movie theater district.

The Enclave in Costa Mesa is a newer Irvine Company apartment complex that is one of the more 'urban' feeling upscale apartments in OC. It offers some neat city lights views and is walkable to South Coast Plaza (and Metro, for that matter).

The others suggested are mostly car-based, which belies the concept of "urban."
