Seal Beach is a nice little town, and you should enjoy living there. I have never been inside the Base housing, but it looks good from the outside. There is a nice elementary school across the street, and shopping and other amenities are nearby. See if you can find the Seal Beach Sun online - I think it is a local paper that may provide you with more information on the area. Good Luck.

You'll be quite close to the beach - Main Street in Seal Beach is really a lot of fun - it leads right out to the pier. Lots of restaurants, clothing stores, a great nursery, ice cream stores, antique stores, surfing/biking stores, etc. They have a lot of street fairs and fun community events and a nice large marina with outdoor restaurants. You will be near the freeway and very centrally located to lots of other places. Good luck and I know you'll like Seal Beach.
