mold survivor is on a distinguished road
Lightbulb Mold Alert

Beware of move-in rental paperwork that asks multiple times for initials in specifying "no visable mold", for each and every area of the rental. We didn't see the mold, but in fact, were exposed to toxic mold for over three months. The management company continually denied it was there. Now my memory is failing, I have permanent respiratory problems and due to the months of steriod use to help me breath, my eyesight is shot. Here's the key, "If you smell mold, you have mold". Apartments over forty years old are a big culprit, leaking plumbing is usually the cause. You can go to the Enviromental Health Department's website and see how dangerous it can be. Uninformed is unprotected, it happens more than you think.
