Our trivia for today:

Dr. Sammy Lee's swim school was just around the corner from the Water Wheel restaurant which was the site of the groundbreaking lunch.

And I'd bet a bag of popcorn that the priest in the photo was from St. Boniface.

I have one of the shovels used that day but not the three handled shovel. The gold plated (actually gold spray painted) shovel presented by Clyde Cromer from the Anaheim CoC.

Yes it is Chris Jepsen in the picture. That was taken at the Disneyland Hotel when we did a presentation to cast members a few years back.

Oh cool, that's really kind of you, sure hope I am right. I used to spend a ton of time wandering around the hotel grounds in the early to mid-seventies. I went there on most Friday and Saturday nights in my teens, to just people watch and see the water show, after cruising up and down Katella and Harbor with my friends, so I would really love to see your book.

I'm still looking for other photos of him - haven't found anything else so far, but the fun is in the hunt.
Please send me your address so I can send you a copy of my book and thanks very much for all your help.
