Not that long. The Amtrak city code for San Juan is SNC. San Clemente is now SNP (used to be SNT when I lived around there). My trivia contribution for today.

The mountains look pretty big, like behind Camp Pendleton. Is it a section of old Highway 1 in the San Onofre area?

I believe Charles meant San Juan Capistrano (SJC) where the 5 and 73 meet.

Looking at the photo from the link, it is just mind-boggling how much the area has changed. I see that San Juan Creek was not channelized back then, it looks nice and wild, like a fun place to play.
