There already is cheap rent stableized housing in Laguna Beach you just have to know where to look. Alice Court is one very low income project.

lol I guess if you really think about it, it's probably nicer to be broke in South OC than rich anywhere else!

I remember from a sociology class that every well-off community needs it's pool of low-income labor in or very near the community to serve it. I find this to be true the older I get.

That's assuming sec 8 people work.

Do they work. The sec 8 people I interviewed, none of them worked.

Hippies NEVER lived in some horrible place.

And yes. There were a lot of hippies in Laguna.

(It was also the first place I ever saw a Hare Krishna.)
