Find a shack in Huntington Beach or rent someone's upper floor in Long Beach. Stay far away from Irvine/MV for action....these words really shouldn't be in the same sentence. Although MILF hunting can prove quite adventurous, if you like that kind of action.

Right now we are trying to figure out whether or not we can afford to pay roughly 800 a month each on rent.

We considered LA because thats where all "the action" is. We want to live as guys in their 20s do. That would mean bars, etc.

The reason we ruled LA out was because it seemed like it would be too expensive.

Bottom line being can we afford OC at 800 each a month?
When I was single many years ago and working as a nurse in la. I lived in the valley. Yep. Was a valley girl! Driving over the hill to work in those days was doable. ESP since nurses go to work when it was still dark.

I lived in about 4 different pats. Last one was 2/2. Never had a roomie. Social life was in la. Usually on Friday notes. Tho apts then were mostly for singles. So we has apt gatherings pool time etc.

With 3 of you. I would look at the valley...Glendale Sherman oaks etc.

Oc is pretty much family oriented.

Good luck

Based on your numbers, if you can make it in Northern VA, OC should be similiar. NoVA is not cheap by any means, but as someone mentioned..if 1 skips, you got problems. Then again 40k doesn't take you very far any more. Good luck and enjoy the weather!
