Well, Disneyland resort in Anaheim, CA is transferring 2,000 jobs to Disney Word in Orlando, FL.

I don't trust this article at all. Due to very-high land costs in Disneyland Anaheim, they will be forced to close or relocate the amusement park.

Disney company also lean more Republican in politics these days, and the CEO doesn't have a positive opinion with California anymore.

Thoughts??? Will Disneyland in Anaheim close permanently and go out of business soon? Maybe by year 2040-2050?

Uhhh are you completely out of your mind? Do you know how much money they just invested in Star Wars Land and the new Avengers Campus in CA Adventure? If you think they are going to shut down the park in 9 years you seriously have no understanding of how capital investment works.

We don't want Disneyland to close, but this location is always more vulnerable for a big upset. I'm actually bearish on Disneyland Anaheim's future, but bullish on Disney World in Florida.

I think your opinion is useless and not evidence based. Go look and see what attendance numbers has been for the last decade at Disneyland or what the ticket costs have done.

Taxation costs matter. More businesses are fleeing California to Florida daily.

Regardless of your opinion, and everything is just rumors so far, I stand behind my statement that I don't think Disneyland Anaheim will be around by year 2050.

So you've already backpedaled from 2030 to now 2050? Funny. You have no clue what you're talking about and it's complete unfounded speculation. Typical nonsense from a completely clueless UC Riverside graduate. Business "fleeing in droves" has absolutely nothing to do with Disneyland attendance.

I can't envision any scenario where City Of Anacrime lets its biggest cash cow get away without a fight. Tax breaks, Waivers on building codes. Whatever.

If, and this is a big if, attendance is down, it's because ticket prices are up. Way up. But that's actually a brilliant move because it creates a better experience for those who are willing to pay. I've read the stories. Who in their right mind wants to fork out $100 a head for a twelve hour day when ten of those hours are spent waiting in a line? I sure as hell wouldn't. But I WOULD be willing to spend $200 (my daughter is eventually going to want to see it) in exchange for getting double, triple, or quadruple the number of attractions in. And lines are maybe 10-15 min as opposed to 60 or 90.

Thus....more likely to return. AND their revenue/profit stream remains more or less the same, if not better.

“Though it’s unclear exactly which positions will be affected, the jobs are expected to be primarily involved in digital technology, product development and finance.”

Did you grow up in Riverside when you were a kid? Sounds like to me you were always unhappy.
