Because thats what theatre tickets cost. Lots of overhead in producing live theatre.

Why isn't this on the Basketball forum? It doesn't belong on the OC Forum.

I saw it in NYC last month and thought it was entertaining, but I had my reservations. I couldn't help compare it to Avenue Q, Spamalot, and Shrek the Musical. The musical numbers, set design, and cast were fantastic. However the plot and dialogue seemed quite predicable. Although reading the wikipedia entry for the Book of Mormon after the show was very enlightening. I couldn't believe General Butt**cking Naked is based on a real warlord who goes by General Buttnaked.

If Mitt Romney becomes our next Goldman Sachs-appointed CEO, we'll all get a chance to see the Book of Mormon Show for free!

I just can't wait to take all 13 of my wives to see it!
