You mean smart like a acreddited Psychologist with a graduate degree?

Or smart like a NeuroScience Ph.d candidate?

Or maybe smart like one of those sharp kids who got into a competitive school like VA Tech?

Since when has smart been mutually exclusive with nuts? You really think intelligence has anything to do with it?

This is another weird Irvine crime. Maybe the surprise is just that these bizarre crimes fly in the face of the squeaky clean image that marketers/developers try to project.

Irvine is still a pretty safe city and crime occurs everywhere, but you scratch your head about some of these things since it doesn’t have a large at-risk impoverished population.

Intellect has nothing to do with mental illness...and his threats were totally deranged. Sadly, I have had friends and family lose children to murder, suicide and accident and, although there was great pain and anger, not one ever responded in this manner. Poor kid. Sounds like stressors on all sides.

Irvine residents have long been the "quite" freak show. Don't let the sleepy look of Irvine fool you.
