I will be moving to newport beach from delhi,india first time in US

iam scared because

1)I dont know how to drive
2)Iam pure vegetarian
3)I dont have any accomadation and my bughet will be between 500-700$/month and may share apartment..and ll together i can spend 1500-2000$ on me.

Please give me some ideas so that i can survive in newport beach for next 3-6 months and also enjoy a lot in my first visit to US.

Where should i stay,is there any transport facility there ,any pubs and other activities.

Newport Beach is a very expensive area. $500-700/mo in rent probably means renting a room in someone's house.

Learning to drive isn't difficult but it does cost money. Without a car, you'll be limited to walking, riding a bike, or taking public transit, all of which make getting anywhere very time consuming.

Being a vegetarian shouldn't be a problem.
