Default The coffe mate guy is hilarious

I have to say, this is one of the funniest/most pathetic thread I've seen on here in a while. The coffee guy especially. Did your friend seriously move far away and commute to work so he could carry a gun? Don't you think this is a little pathetic? Anyway, I know plenty of people in LA that have guns - The laws are not unreasonable.

wow, coming from a small town in PA, there is a big difference, but hey, there are only about 10,000 ppl living here, haha, a BIG difference. Here, as long as you pass a background check and don't hide it, no one cares. The BIGGEST surprise(with how my area is anymore) there aren't any shootings. I do have a question though,(and I don't mean to be ignorant, and sorry if I seem like it), how is it with guns in SoCal? I am just concerned because I am considering moving me and my family out there next year, maybe to Mission Viejo, Perris, Menifee, or Canyon Lake. Just concerned because I have 2 kids, that's all.

Doug, I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "the gun situation in southern cal". Do you mean is there a lot of gun crime, or do you mean how hard would it be for you to get a gun? I'll assume the former .... there's a lot of gun crime in southern cal, but it's not quite as dangerous in LA as Philadelphia in my opinion (casual impression), and San Diego is safer than LA. It's very hard for good citizens to get carry licenses there, and very easy for thugs and gangs to get guns. So it's open season on the good guys.

Default gun nuts in OC?

hahaha! I didn't think there wereany in Orange County! When we got a handgun, our friends looked at us as if we said "we have a dead body in our closet" or something like that - and these were transplants from the Midwest...

Seriously, there is a nice indoor range in Laguna Niguel, and I think, one in Huntington Beach. If you like to shoot outdoors, there is a place up in Azusa, where I took a course.

Default Conceal Carry Permits

I know 3 people with CCWs, they attended the CCW classes hoasted by Greg Block. He is a nice guy and hoasts several events at his own range as well as at Evan's Shooting World. I know that he, as well as many of the CCW permit holders in the area have an online forum for gun owners. You may wish to contact him to get their info. his website has his contact info: www.firearmstraining.com.

Well, I guess with today's Supreme Court ruling it will become easier for law-abiding citizens everywhere to get guns to defend themselves from the predators (who have guns anyway, regardless of legality).
