Default Commute by train to Cypress?

Hi,

I had posted on this earlier. I'll be starting work in Cypress from end of the month and looking for places to live. Per suggestions from this group, I've been looking in Craigslist for Cypress and nearby communities but nothing is coming to our budget of $1800 max with amenities we are looking for (newer, open floor plan, w/d inside etc.).

I'm wondering are there any cities that are commutable by train from Cypress that may fit our needs better?

G

In a word, no. We are not known for a well established transit system. There are possibly some buses you could use between locations, but it is hard to say. Your budget, while reasonable for most states and perhaps for more remote areas of CA, is hard to apply here given the list of what you want for your money.

Yeah, as far as I know, there's no trains in Cypress.

$1800/mo is an OK budget for a 2 bedroom apartment. But it'll be built in the 70's, probably won't have W/D hookups, and will probably have just one assigned parking spot.

Cypress is very good area. No need for a train. Orange County Transit Authority Welcome To The Orange County Transportation Authority . Several buses lines cover Cypress: Line 21 Valley View St, Line 25 Knott Ave; Line 42 Lincoln Ave/Los Alamitos Blvd; Line 50 Katella Ave, just to name a few. I hope it helps.
