Leave NOW! lol!

When I lived in OC, I've actually flown (going to Honolulu) from SNA to LAX just to avoid the traffic. It added no/little cost to the overall flight.

Ha ha. Is the OC really an impenetrable mass of traffic jams? Do I need to write the OC off my itinerary? Find a rental company with a remote drop off and take the train to LAX?

My flight is already booked, with the incredibly low fare of $274 from TN. It's cheap enough to put up with a little aggravation but If I miss my flight I'll have to move in with my cousin Jed and live the life of a 60's sitcom. Is that why they never went home to the hills - couldn't get to the airport?

I usually get to LAX 1 1/2 hours before my flight. At that time of day the traffic isnt bad, I would give it an hour to get to LAX. I would leave Laguna Beach around 11:00 and take the 405.
