I'm Jewish, my wife is Filipino, and we have Hispanic friends.

I work in Irvine with Blacks, Whites, Hispanics, Asians, Muslims...

Did you order her through the mail? Did you have an easy time with her immigration paperwork because you're a lawyer? Are your hispanic "friends" your nanny and gardener?

I don't really see the point in this thread.

P.S. The proper way to say it would be "my wife is a Filipina" my racially enlightened friend!

It's certainly not the most racist...but I wouldn't say it's the "LEAST" racist either. I imagine that title would belong to San Francisco county or LA county.

Not necessarily. Just because a place is "diverse" doesn't mean the people in it are accepting of different people, especially when other issues are in play.

Just because a place is not as "diverse" doesn't mean the people in it are necessarily racist, by and large; at least, any more than anyone else.

There are a lot of posts on here in regards to OC being racists. I guess it has the reputation due to all the recent hate crimes against black families in OC during the past few years. Personally, I don't really think OC is racist per se, but there are some ignorant people here that are in a bubble that are just not used to people they don't come across often. I am half black half hispanic and I do get the occasional glances or stares and I don't think it's just because I am good looking

Overall, I think OC is tolerant but there are a lot of people here who are ignorant and stereotype others which is not really no worst than any other place in the US.

I doubt it. The attitudes of residents in Orange County aren't far removed from that of the South.
