Haven't visited this site in years, but I'm back

My husband is thinking of ditching his iphone for an android phone, but he would be leaving Verizon for T-Mobile. All I know is my old Sprint phone had spotty coverage (especially in Long Beach), but Verizon's been great everywhere.

What are your experiences with T-Mobile in LA and Orange County?

Thanks!

It's generally well-covered, but can be hit or miss in the hilly areas.

It's lousy in East Irvine near the hills.

I was working in a store at the Santa Ana mall. If I received a call on the Tmobile cell I had to rush to a exit to take the call. I switched to Verizon and I could take the call anywhere in the store that had previously been a dead zone.

Thanks for the input. My husband has been researching phones, data plans, etc. I like what he and I have, but I forget his reasons for changing. I just don't know about T-Mobile, so I thought I'd ask. Thanks for your time

I used my T-Mobile phone in the Mission Viejo and Irvine areas when I was in the area visiting my brother and his family.
