I would go to Disney World simply because I have never been there. I have been to Disneyland a million times since I was a wee lad. I've enjoyed every visit immensely and still have great memories from as far back as '62 when i was only four. They had the sky baskets, flying saucers bumper cars that rode on air and the original Mission to Mars amongst many other rides long gone back then.

It is still beautiful but I'd love to try the other place in Florida at least once.

I have been to Disneyland more than a dozen times, I have never been to Disneyworld, but there seems to be a lot of attractions and "parks" at D-world that I could not care less about. Only for more concentrated fun (seemingly) I would pick Disneyland.

Going to DisneyLand for the first time as an adult, with no special love for Mickey and the gang, the experience sucked and the park is really showing its age. That place is riding on reputation & hard core marketing alone.

Disney World. There's way more to do there, the parking is easily accessible, and our timeshare is on the property, and everything is in a resort setting. Beautiful grounds, plenty of pools, lots of stuff to do, and more parks than you could possibly do in a couple days. Disneyland seems more like a simple amusement park, and somewhat seedy to me. Too many cheap motels and it's built right on major trafficked road.

Disney World and it isn't even close. It's massive, has water parks, bars and clubs, huge shopping areas, like 20 hotel resorts, etc.

I grew up going to Disney World and Disneylnd is frankly sort of boring to me because comparatively there's not much there. Granted, I do think it's cool that it's tucked away in this heavily populated area and doesn't feel like it. It feels like a classic park to me which is cool, it's just IMO I'd take Disney World anytime. Weather is largely better at Disney Land though.
