I am a young professional seeking to find a new life for myself in Southern CA, so I was looking at fast track community college 2-year associate or certificate programs (specifically in Hotel Management/Hospitality). I found programs in Cypress College and Orange Coast in Costa Mesa. I saw a few others in Glendale, and I believe a few other community colleges in OC and Greater LA.

The purpose is to obtain a practical education with a part-time leading to full-time employment. Which schools are recommended, pros and cons? Is the advice to take classes perhaps in several schools, and if so which one is best to obtain a certificate/degree? Which schools appear to graduate more hospitality degrees? And, which schools have the best reputation among hospitality/hotel employers in the Greater LA area? Thanks again!

I can't speak specifically to the program itself, but OCC fills up all classes really quickly. You might have to take programs at several schools just to get finished in 2 years. I work with a lot of community college students at OCC, Saddleback and IVC, and they all struggle to get in the classes they want because there are just so many people trying to enroll.
