Today I hit the Laurel Canyon and Willow trail. Next time I will do the Big Bend trail! Wow, was it gorgeous up there! What a treat! I cannot recommend this trail enough. It can be found right off of the 133/Laguna Canyon Road. The rock formations are beautiful. Has anyone else done these trails?

Yup, that is a great trail. Especially during wetter winter seasons. If you know where to look, Orange County really does have some good hiking spots.
I saw a few bikes but some of the trails (or mini trails, sections of the trails) have signs that show no bikes. There are maps down there that show where bikes can go and where they cannot.

Yes I have. Yes, those are beautiful trails. You can take those trails in the Laguna coast wilderness as they connect to the trails in Crystal Cove SP all the way to the beach.

Then you have the higher peaks of the Santa Anas(Santiago Peak), which basically divide Orange from Riverside counties. While not as high (with pine woods and snow) as the higher SoCal mtn ranges (IE: San Jacintos, Mt. Baldy, etc.) they do peak about 6000 feet, and the trail up to Santiago/Saddleback is supposed to be quite long.
Aliso/Woods Canyon is definitely worth a visit. It's got a year round creek that snakes through the canyon and a fair amount of tree canopy as a result. One of the better hikes to do in summer because it is cooler under the tree cover.
Yes, but looking forward to going again. I mountain biked all of it before Aliso Viejo existed, and every fire road, El Morro, lol. Good times and fun snake stories.
I did the Dilley Greenbelt trails yesterday (in far eastern Laguna Beach/Laguna Coast) and encountered Barbara Lake. I didn't even know there was a natural lake there. Very nice hike. In any case, Barbara Lake looks far more replenished than in this video taken this summer in September. Beautiful place and caves.
