My husband and I always go out to dinner on Thanksgiving and Christmas. There is Benihana, Gullivers etc. Just select a favorite restaurant and call them, they will tell you if they are open.

HI,

Here is some restuarants that are open on Christmas Day.
Ferrantelli's in Dana Point (Yummy-This is where i am going, love this place)
K-Ya in Laguna Beach
Harpoon Henrys (Dana Point)
Sundried Tomato (Laguna Beach)
The Cannons (Dana Point) Pricey
Bungalow in Cornona Del Mar
Sam & Harrys Steakhouse in Newport Beach,
