Democrats and Latinos have are plurality in the 1st district and you would think Lou Correa had more name recognition. Yet, Andrew Do is about to pull the same upset as Janet Nguyen did 8 years ago. If Do had somehow convinced Chris Phan a fellow Republican to withdrawal from this race, then he would have won easily. Also interesting to note, that only 22% of the registered voters participated.

Andrew Do has secured the victory unless Correa asks and pays for a recount.
