Default commute from Irvine to San Clemente

I am taking a job in San Clemente and I live in Irvine. Is there anyone knows how the commute is between 7-8am and 5-6pm?

In the morning it will be no more than 40 minutes as you will be heading in the opposite direction of traffic. You probably can do it under 30 if you live in south Irvine and are going to north San Clemente.

In the evening it depends, but traffic usually isn't bad south of Alicia Parkway in either direction in the evening. Probably 40- 45 minutes.

If you aren't really established in Irvine, San Clemente is a great beach town to live in. It is gorgeous.

I think that reverse commute would be extremely easy. 30 minutes is an upper end. But I also agree you should try moving to San Clemente. Irvine is dull.

I'd love to move to San Clemente. Does anyone know which area of San Clemente is good and which should avoid?
