I love driving on Pioneer to see all the shops. I'm sure they can answer this question for you.
For what it's worth, Artesia is VERY near OC. It is in eastern L.A. County. Artesia borders Cypress/Buena Park, it is off the 605fwy, between the 405 and 5.

It would be different if Artesia was way over in West L.A. or the South Bay, much further away from OC.

I think mostly like near Fullerton and Anaheim. I believe there’s a mosque there.

There is nothing much in OC like NY so if you can make few Indian friends might get the south east Asian vibe

LA has a Little Bangladesh with a community center, and a few restaurants and grocery stores. I'd imagine there is a sizeable Bangladeshi population in LA County vs. OC.

Koreatown in Los Angeles has a "little Bangladesh".

If SoCal isn't your thing, come up north to Silicon Valley. Especially in Santa Clara County and southern Alameda County (Fremont/Union City) - we have a very large and thriving South Asian community.

I think the SF Bay Area probably has the best South Asian food scene in all of US, atleast when specifically speaking about Indian food.

Artesia in LA is what you want

Buena Park has a lot of South Asians, actually.
