And your factoid about Santa Ana being the gang capital of America is based on absolutely nothing. Just like the rest of your pathetic argument.

Once again you're contradicting yourself. You tried to say my analysis was invalid because it's worse now than it used to be...and then you made up your 361 crime rate claim out of nowhere...yet a quick look back at City Data's crime information for Santa Ana will show that the rate 5-6 years ago was never above 301, which is the national average, and it's been lower than that every year since 2006.

So when it suits you, the crime rate is an all-time high of 361 (still totally unsubstantiated by any type of evidence)...but then when it doesn't, it was so much worse in the past...

Look, everybody knows this guy (mbell) has an animus toward Santa Ana that really knows no bounds. Even when he expresses a desire for the place to improve, he talks it down when people report good things going on there. That photograph of the intersection of Sullivan and Hood did NOT look that bad....but you saw his response here. He seemed to be seeing things that were not there.

Once someone's mind is made up on an issue, neither sight nor hearing nor feeling count for anything.

If the place's homicide rate happened to decrease to one murder next year, it still wouldn't be enough.

So, back to the relative safety of Santa Ana and the relative sanity of most of the rest of the posting world.
