I will visit Irvine, then LA this weekend. I am thinking about driving from Irvine to LA in the afternoon Sunday. I don't know the neighborhood name, but street address is 729 South Citrus Avenue, Los Angeles, CA. Google map shows driving mostly on I 5 or 405. So how is the traffic at that time? I plan to drive back from LA to Irvine at 9 pm Sunday.

Thanks.

There is pretty much always some level of traffic. I'd leave early in the morning if I were you.

Some times you will breeze in no muss no fuss, other times it may be gridlocked. There is just no telling.

If your going on the 5, you will hit traffic near the 710. Why at 9pm? I dont know, its always been like that.

Better than any other day but it will still have traffic, depending on accidents, events, etc.
