Good/Bad about living in Orange County

Hmmm. What a bizarre conversation. While someone who lives in a very ethnic area tends to see the behavior of the nonwhite populace as marginal, driving while stupid occurs everywhere and by all races. For those grousing about the large numbers of Asians - operhaps you should move to Santa Ana, where the people look more like you with a tan. That way I promise you, driving will be an adventure!

As for the good- if you remove Santa Ana and parts of Anacrime and Garden Grove from the picture, OC is the closest metro area to paradise. The Beach nearby, good home values, hundreds of miles of bicycle trails, the best weather on earth, first rate colleges. Too boring for you? move to LA you won't be bored, just nervous.

I'm talking about the 50-70 crowd that's been here for years, aren't senile, but still do stupid stuff behind the wheel. Those are the ones that make driving in Westminster an adventure.

Show us the statistics demonstrating that it is only Asians of this age range who do "stupid stuff" behind the wheel. Remember, you have to adjust for the fact that there are more Asians in Orange county than, say, Columbia Missouri. In other words, what is the rate of car accidents per 100,000 Asians compared to the rate of car accidents per 100,000 whites? That's how you make a valid comparison.
