It's a shame that the whole ARTIC project has been a bust so far for the city of Anaheim, but at least the downtown area continues to progress. New housing projects continue to pop up on Anaheim blvd and right off it near downtown. This is also currently under construction and should be open by 2016 (I hope): Developer hopes to turn old marmalade factory into the toast of Anaheim - LA Times .

On a side note, here is a video update from what is going down a little up the 5 freeway in Buena Park:

It isn't surprising that the only business/retailer being advertised thus far is CGV cinemas, a South Korean movie theater whose only other U.S. location is in Koreatown. If it continues down this route, I expect this to become Little Seoul Plaza in no time. http://www.koreatimesus.com/cgv-cine...orange-county/

The Asian community has really helped the packinghouse success, other cities are waking up and planning to replicate the same ideas. Packing house parking is a gigantic failure. I here a multi level structure is planned after taking out some of those crappy apartments.

Yeah the parking there is miserable. There is lots of room to build a parking structure nearby.

Very interesting development. I am going to Knotts at the end of the month and looking forward to seeing how it looks.
